UUCF ARTspeaks is honored to host a traveling arts exhibit opening on March 23 at 7 p.m. The art is themed "Black Lives Matter" and was created by artists in the Richmond area. The works, varied in style, encompass a range of moving and deep emotional experiences.
Additionally, DC-area musicians will contribute their talents to this evening art opening.
All are welcome.
Opening night tickets: $10/individual; $25/family max. All proceeds benefit Black Lives Matter. This is a tremendous opportunity to support this movement and witness stories and music.
This project has been underwritten by the UUCF Social Justice Council and UUCF Racial Justice Steering Committee.

The New Community School is one of a handful of secondary schools in the nation that offers challenging, college-preparatory academics for young people with dyslexia and related learning difficulties. In support of this essential education, the school's Parents Association holds an annual art show fundraiser showcasing artwork from local and regional artists. The funds raised from this very special event have supported the specialized academic program and provided need-based financial aid.

Now in it's second year, this show features diverse artists' response to the theme "black lives matter." A portion of the proceeds from all work sold will be donated to Black Lives Matter.

Join Art 180 for the 4th Annual Atlas Holiday Market! Their Atlas gallery will be transformed into a holiday market that will feature fine art, crafts, and other handmade items by local artists ranging in price from $3-$300.
ART 180 will host an opening party for the Atlas Holiday Market on Friday, December 1, during First Fridays RVA, from 6-9 p.m. The market will continue through December 15, Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Johannah is honored to have seven mosaic pieces included in Gallery Flux's annual Miniature Show featuring a variety of art from paintings to mixed media to sculpture. This show offers clients a chance to invest in Fine Art at affordable prices from compelling local and regional artists. All artwork featured in this show will be priced $400 or less and 8" x 8" or smaller.

Join us for a month of mosaics at Chocolates by Kelly. Kelly's family has been making chocolate for generations, and you can taste the knowledge and experience in her delicious work. She also celebrates other local businesses each month on the walls of her shop. For the month of September, Johannah will be the featured artist.

Art Scientifique was created to celebrate the beauty that is often found as the result of scientific inquiry. This unique crossover show represents work not only from artists but scientists as well. The artwork displayed represents the wide and diverse nature of science from Astronomy to Zoology and everything between. This show, now in its seventh year, draws entries from artists all over the United States.
