“Sunny Day” is a spin-off from our night sky portraits in the Celestial Mosaic Series. This piece features the glowing, radiating sun against a white background. Blades of bright green grass line the ground below.

• Created from hand-cut smalti in shades of yellow and green and a yellow faux gem reclaimed from costume jewelry set in white mortar.

• Installed in a maple float frame with a wire on the back for easy hanging. This piece measures 7.5”H x 7.5”W x 1”D.
