Works Inspired by Joseph Cornell

  • The Fralin Museum of Art 155 Rugby Road Charlottesville, VA, 22903 United States (map)

Launched in the summer of 2021, The Fralin’s Little Museum of Art was inspired by a desire to engage with the community during the museum’s closure and provide an opportunity to highlight the artwork of local and student artists. This miniature museum consists of six galleries, each measuring approximately one foot square, and showcases tiny works on a rotating basis. The Little Museum of Art is located outside on the Cornell Plaza and is on view 24 hours a day.

Johannah is pleased to have work included in the first exhibition of the 2022-23 academic school year. The show features works inspired by The Fralin Museum of Art’s current exhibition, “Joseph Cornell: Enclosing Infinity.” Join us for the opening reception Friday August 26 from 5 to 7 pm, or check out the show any time through September 28.
