What is Craft + Design? Now in its 56th year, Craft + Design showcases the work of contemporary craft artists from across the United States. Shoppers spend the weekend eating, drinking and browsing the work of artists from all over the country. With the health and safety of artists, volunteers, staff and attendees in mind, the events team at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond decided to POSTPONE THE IN-PERSON EVENT until June 4-6, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the in-person event planned for June 2021, VisArts is hosting Craft + Design Online from November 20-29, 2020. Many of the artists participating in the online event will travel to Richmond to show their work at Craft + Design in June 2021, so Craft + Design Online is a great way to preview the in-person show!
