Dress up a functional item with unexpected color and texture!

This coat rack features a line of reclaimed Moroccan pottery and Italian millefiori against a yellow mosaic background with a white surround. The frame is reclaimed mahogany, with our modern V-hooks.

To create our coat racks, Johannah first creates the mosaic from traditional ceramic and glass as well as found objects. We then fit the mosaic into one of our handmade American hardwood frames. Last step is to add Kyle’s hand-forged hooks. The frame is finished in a durable clear coat and the hooks in clear wax.
