“New Moon” is part of our continuing fascination with the night sky that has manifested in the Celestial Mosaic Series. This piece celebrates the new moon and all that it symbolizes: rest, introspection, and new beginnings. The darkened moon is barely visible in a blue night sky. Bright white stars sparkle in the radiating and graduated pattern of soft blues.
